Kim Schneider: Port Ewen, NY, United States; Kim Schneider has lived in the Hudson Valley for many years. Born with Cerebral Palsy, Kim experiences life from the perspective of a wheelchair. She studied art at Ulster Community College, SUNY New Paltz, and the Woodstock School of Art. Kim was greatly inspired by the Pablo Picasso quote, “It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child.” Kim has shown her work at The Cherry Branch Gallery in Cooperstown, M&T Bank in Kingston, Kingston Cooks, Arrowsmith in Millbrook, Catskill Art Supply in Kingston, Mezzaluna Cafe in Saugerties, the Fleur de Lis Gallery in Millbrook, the Hudson Valley Book Stop in Kingston, and the Town of Esopus Library. She also sells handpainted greeting cards, bookmarks, and her paintings annually at Mower's Flea Market in Woodstock.
